Extreme Cowboy Coastal Challenge

An Extreme Cowboy event challenges both horse and rider to maneuver through a series of obstacles demonstrating both horsemanship and speed.

Spectators are Free.  Food Trucks will be Available.

Held at the Huntington Central Park Equestrian Center. A Parking Map and Itinerary will be emailed to you!

Extreme Cowboy Competition 9 am to 5 pm

  • Free Rein Foundation’s Extreme Cowboy Race consists of obstacles such as water crossings, moguls, side-pass, three-steps, bridges, back-thru, jumps and other interesting obstacles.
  • Horsemanship with speed provides an exciting event for competitors and spectators.

****The Public is welcome to attend this most exciting Cowboy Event!

Free Rein’s monthly “Hug & Groom” events are a great way for anyone interested in learning more about Free Rein and meeting our rescue horses. Events are open to the public and brushing and hugging our rescue horses.

All ages welcome!

Free Rein is partnering with SoCal Saddlery (a local favorite!) to host our Second Annual Holiday Boutique. Over 20 Boutique Vendors will be styling it at the Red Horse Barn in Huntington Beach all day long.

We got drinks!
And we got all your Boutique favorites to make you look hot over the holidays!

PLUS you will be doing something pretty incredible by helping Free Rein fund
more local kids in our programs + rescue and feed more horses for our programs.
