Raza came to us several years ago via Riverside County Animal Control with another neglected rescue, Bella. In her past life, Raza was a cart racehorse. This thoroughbred was a handful when she came to Free Rein. Over the past two years, with Free Rein’s consistent training and loving handling, Raza is a different horse. She has progressed from being a scared and highly sensitive horse to a much calmer, safer and ready-to-please horse. We continue to hone her sensitive nature in the hope that Raza is eventually “promoted” as a working therapy horse.
