Sapphire was brought to Free Rein in November 2021 when she was approximately nine years old. She is a survivor! She was originally sold by the Bureau of Land Management after a Kansas round-up. She was reportedly sold again and somehow ended up at an auction in Mississippi. She was then accepted to two different horse rescues before finding her way to Free Rein. She was very headstrong when she arrived in California, and required extensive training before she was ready for adoption. She now happily lives on a ranch in Tennessee.
