Rosie was rescued from a kill lot in Oklahoma as a foal (baby), where she was accidentally separated from her mother. She arrived in Southern California painfully thin, full of worms and trembling in fear. The couple who adopted her hoped she would comfort another miniature horse they had rescued, who had just lost her foal. The plan worked – the two minis immediately became inseparable, and it soon became apparent that these tiny mares have big personalitis!
