Smoke came to us by way of a Bureau of Land Management round-up in Modoc County in Northernmost California. He was born in captivity to a mustang mare caught in their round-up while pregnant. Smoke has a playful, dynamic personality. He’s described as curious and mischievous and has been known to tip wheelbarrows on volunteers, come in hot for a rub and run off with volunteers’ hats and jackets. Smoke loves his rides through the neighboring Urban Forest, and the sweet nothings from admirers along the way. Smoke has advanced and excelled in his training, and especially loves jumping. He is ready for adoption by some lucky forever family.
