Not long after Free Rein Foundation opened its sanctuary in 2014, Trailer was rescued from a feed lot (the final stage prior to slaughter) in New Mexico and found his way to us. This sweet-natured little mustang has come to be known as one of the faces of Free Rein Foundation. Now in his mid-20s, Trailer has a track record with clients, visitors, students and volunteers as gentle and approachable. We are grateful for his immense impact in our equine-assisted teaching and wellness programs for the community.
