Around 2014, Wilbur was rescued from a ranch property where he was tied to a tire and abandoned. He lived the remainder of his life in the Free Rein pastures where he was deeply loved and cared for. He peacefully passed away in January 2026 and is remembered for his kind and comforting presence.
