In spring 2024 when Zinfandel joined the other geldings in Free Rein’s pasture, the 21-year-old almost instantly made himself at home. This warmblood is so well mannered and friendly that he immediately became a Hug & Groom and therapy session star.
Zinn used to live in the Huntington Central Park Equestrian Center (HCPEC) stables, but after his owner was no longer able to care for him, Zinn was rescued by HCPEC CEO Mary Behrens. Although it is likely Zinn will be adopted into a forever home, until then he will be well-loved and pampered by the Free Rein volunteers.
