Earl is fondly remembered for his goofy personality. He spent many years as a beloved Free Rein therapy horse before being adopted, alongside Diego, to live on a ranch in Iowa. When his owners lost their ranch, Earl returned to Free Rein for his final days. He passed away in fall 2022 surrounded by volunteers who loved and cared for him.
